Ohio Ridge Riders Club
Newsletter September 2009
The September 2009 meeting was held on
Wednesday September 2, 2009 with ten members
present.
The officers of your club hope that everyone
had a great summer despite the cool wet weather. Hopefully this will translate
into an early snowy winter ahead.
SnowBash ’09 will be held on
Saturday & Sunday September 19th & 20th this year. As always, help will be needed for
the event. If you would be interested in helping out a couple hours or the
whole weekend, please give Carl Irwin a call at 315-826-826-3436 or e-mail Carl
at cirwin880@roadrunner.com. Carl
will compile a list for this. The event promises to be another great one. The
new backboard with entry gates has been completed. Be sure to come and see why
the racers say it is the best race in the east!
There is also a work party
planned for Saturday September 5th to help set things up. Everyone
will meet at the field at 9 AM. The timing system on the track will be tested
as well, so if you would like to try out your ATV, bring it along.
The summer has been busy doing bridge work.
The bridge over Cold Brook by the Russia town park has been
re-decked. Also, the bridge on the Black
Creek Lake
trail out of Nobelboro has been finished. This bridge is eighty feet long.
Groomer maintenance has also being completed. The Club has also ordered two new
Skandiks for this year.
The new raffle tickets are here and ready to
be purchased. If you would like to purchase one or more, please send a check
made out to ORRC for $100.00 each to:
