Ohio Ridge Riders Club ORRC Newsletters 2007-2008 season April 2008 MEETING The April 2008 meeting was held on
Wednesday April 2, 2008 with seven members present. The trails are officially closed
for the season. The Club would like to
thank everyone that worked on the trails this year. It was a tough year
to keep the trails in good shape with the frequent thaws and rain. Even
with these problems, the trails were in very good shape. We received
many compliments on the conditions of our trails. The volunteers that
do this need to be commended. The Club would also like
to thank our landowner’s that allow our trails to cross their
land. With out their generosity, our trail system would not be
possible. The club will be sending them a small token of our gratitude
to them. The club will be sending
representatives to the NYSSA forum in Buffalo on April 11th
and 12th. The new BearCat groomer
was used to haul material into the Black Creek Lake trail section of
the South Lake trail to construct some needed bridges. These bridges
will be built this summer. The machine has worked out well. SnowBash ’08
will be held on Saturday & Sunday September 20 & 21
this year. As always, help will be needed in the weeks before the event
to help set up and get the track ready. If you would be interested in
helping out a couple hours or a few days, please give Carl Irwin a call

Carl will compile a list for this. The new raffle tickets are here and
ready to be purchased. As you can see, this year’s prizes
have been increased to make the odds of winning even better! If you
would like to purchase one or more, please send a check made out to
ORRC for $100.00 each to: ORRC Secretary 138 Kelley Road Ohio, NY 13324 Your ticket stub will be mailed

NYSSA has taken their
membership site off line for a short while. This year’s
vouchers expired on March 31. The site is scheduled to be up and
running again prior to registrations in August. You will be able to
renew on-line at: https://www.nyssnowassoc.org/clubs/membership/join_a_club.php?club_id=735 You will be able to pay
your dues and print your registration voucher right there. For our
members that do not have computer access, we will send out renewal
notices in September. The next meeting will be
Wednesday September 3, 2008 at 7:30 PM at the Ohio Recreation Hall on
Nellis Road. SnowBash plans will be set at this meeting. The officers of your Club
would like to wish all its members a safe and enjoyable summer. See you
